Barnhart to deliver keynote speech at World Crane & Transport Summit

Alan Barnhart of Barnhart Crane & Rigging will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming World Crane & Transport Summit (WC&TS) in Miami on 12 and 13 November 2014.

Barnhart, who is also president of the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association, will talk about his career leading one of the largest and fastest growing crane and lifting companies in North America.

More than a dozen other speakers have also been confirmed for the one and a half day conference, including:

The conference, which takes place at the Biltmore Hotel, starts after lunch on Wednesday 12 November and concludes on the evening of Thursday 13 November. There will be a gala dinner on the evening of 12 November.

Topics covered will include a round-table session on lifting and transport in the oil and gas and energy markets; new research into the impact of energy investments in the construction equipment sector; operator training and safety; and project reports, such as the world’s largest ever topside load out by ALE.
