UK crane rental and contract lifting company Cadman Cranes has added to its fleet with the purchase of two new mobile cranes: a Liebherr LTM 1090-4.2 and a Böcker AK 46/6000.

The Liebherr is a 90 tonne capacity four-axle crane which was launched at the ConExpo show in Las Vegas in 2017. According to Liebherr it can travel in the UK complete with its 22.5 tonne counterweight and fly jib and remain within STGO regulations. The crane has a 60 metre telescopic main boom and is fitted with Liebherr’s VarioBase and VarioBallast systems.

Matt Wadding, commercial director at Cadman Cranes commented, “We are delighted to be one of the first companies in the UK to take delivery of Liebherr’s new LTM 1090-4.2. The crane is a beast with incredible duties and manoeuvrability. We really cannot wait for our customers to see it in action.”

The Böcker AK 46/6000 has a capacity of 6 tonnes and an operating radius of up to 39 metres with a 250 kg load or 26 m with a 1,000 kg payload. According to Cadman, the crane’s combination of a variable outrigger system in combination with no tail swing makes it suitable for working in areas with limited space.
