Chicago Pneumatic expands range

Chicago Pneumatic said it would launch a range of new products at Bauma, including two new lighting towers.
The new V15s are the first models in the Chicago Pneumatic range to use a heavy-duty polyethylene (PE) canopy.
The V15 range has two models - the CPLT V15 comes with metal halide technology, while the CPLT V15 LED features LED lighting technology and can light an area approximately 25% larger, while proving additional fuel efficiency benefits, according to the company. Both are powered by a Kubota Tier 4-compliant engine.
Chicago Pneumatic said the new PE Red Rock canopy protected vital internal components to ensure peak performance, and offered optimised lifespan and resale value. It also said the wide wing doors allowed easy maintenance access to the machine.
And Chicago Pneumatic also said it would showcase its latest generation of rig-mounted hydraulic compactor attachments at Bauma - the RC range, which includes five new models for use on 1 to 40 tonne operating weight carriers.
Chicago Pneumatic is also expanding its range of light compaction equipment with the introduction of the MR7005 walk-behind double drum roller and MV58 forward asphalt plate compactor.
Both models are said to be easy to operate, manoeuvre and maintain, and benefit from new design features that provide for fast and highly efficient compaction performance.
Taking place in Munich, Germany, from 11 to 17 April, Bauma is the largest construction equipment exhibition in the world.
