Deadline this Friday for European Rental Awards

10 December 2008

The deadline for the European Rental Awards is fast closing in, with entries required by FRIDAY 27 MARCH. The winners will be announced at the European Rental Association's annual convention, being held this year in Manchester, UK, on 26-27 May.

The awards, again jointly organised by International Rental News and the ERA, are being reduced in scope to match the smaller scale of the ERA convention in 2009. The 2009 convention will be a two-day event without the IRE exhibition, with the IRE show now being held on a three-year cycle.

There will be four award categories, as follows:

Rental Company of the Year (10 depots or more)

• Rental Company of the Year (under 10 depots)

• Rental Product of the Year (launched during 2008)

• ERA/IRN Rental Person of the Year

The deadline for entries is FRIDAY 27 MARCH 2009.

Full details of the award criteria, downloadable entry forms and other information is available at www.khl.com/rentalawards. The awards will take place on 26 May at the Midland Hotel, Manchester, UK.

The judging panel for the 2009 European Rental Awards will comprise:

Arne Bugge, managing director, Norwegian Rental Association

Gérard Déprez, ERA president

Michel Petitijean, ERA secretary general

Peter Schrader, managing director, MVS Zeppelin

Chris Sleight, editor, Construction Europe, KHL Group
