Equipment Depot chooses Ultimate Software

Equipment Depot has selected Ultimate Software's UltiPro software to consolidate its payroll, HR, compensation management and recruitment processes into one unified solution.

Ultimate Software is a provider of unified human capital management (HCM) SaaS solutions for global businesses. Equipment Depot employs more than 1,450 people in 13 states, making handling the full scope of human capital management a challenging proposition.

"We had multiple payroll systems across our various business units," said Leora Kirby, vice president of human resources at Equipment Depot. "Since we're in the process of combining five companies into one, we wanted one centralized payroll solution that could accommodate our current needs as well as keep pace with our company as we grow in the future. We were looking for a high-caliber HCM platform with a single database, 24-7 Web accessibility for our workforce, and end-to-end-functionality. Plus, we wanted to take advantage of SaaS innovation because it saves us the costs of running, maintaining, and supporting a technology solution on our own."

"Our line managers will become much more effective and efficient," Kirby added. "And this kind of proficiency will create a tremendous step forward for our HR/payroll teams and our entire organization."

"Bringing an easy-to-manage framework to resolve complex HCM challenges is what UltiPro is all about," said Greg Swick, chief sales officer for Ultimate Software. "We're delighted that Equipment Depot has selected UltiPro for the undeniable advantages of cloud-based HCM, including speed-to-deployment. We look forward to collaborating with Equipment Depot, sharing our decades of expertise on best practices for HCM technology, and helping this growing company achieve its aggressive goals as it expands its overall business strategy."
