Fassi wins in Thailand

12 June 2008

The Highway Authority for Thailand has placed an order with Italy-based manufacturer Fassi for 57 of its F95B loader cranes.

The value of the order, received through dealer San Pacific in Singapore, is about €1 million (US$1.5 million), said the company. The deal states that the cranes must be installed on trucks in Thailand within 150 days of contract signing, which is expected in the next few days.

The contract was awarded following a 2.5 month "electronic" tender process, said the company. Fassi told IC that there are already about 100 units of its cranes in Thailand.
