GSR names new French dealer

GSR Aerial Platforms has announced that CFM Ile de France has become its exclusive dealer for the country. The deal was agreed after CFM acquired the truck mount manufacturer’s previous French distributor Nacelles Services.

CFM Ile de France specialises in the sale, rental and servicing of access and material handling equipment. It operates branches in the Roissy-en-France and Jouy-le-Moutier suburbs of Paris and has a supplied over 2,000 machines to the region to date.

Alessandro Palazzi, GSR commercial director, said, “We are renewing our long tradition of supplies in France thanks to the agreement with CFM Ile de France and thanks to the recent presentation of our range of aerial platforms for B license in the Iveco Daily version.

Speaking about its recent takeover of Nacelles Services, Julien Poupart, director of operations at CFM Ile de France, said, “This acquisition responds to two objectives of CFM Ile de France with the aim of pursuing its development: diversify, introducing the GSR brand aerial platforms in its range of products, and integrate in its group of technicians specialised in repairing platforms.”
