US-based H&E Equipment Services has opened its ninth depot in the state of California, in Sun Valley, in response to economic growth in the Los Angeles area.

Regional Vice President Mark Ford said, “With strong economic growth in the Los Angeles area, adding a second location in the San Fernando Valley will help us better serve customers and ongoing projects in the area.

“Construction expansion into Burbank at the Avion Burbank site, many highway projects, and work at Cal State Northridge provide the opportunity to expand and establish our good name throughout the LA market.”

The new 1,400m2 facility is located on a 1.6ha site with a fenced yard area, offices, parts warehouse, and a repairs workshop with five service bays.

It is capable of servicing a variety of construction and general industrial equipment, and it joins the company’s La Mirada depot in serving the greater Los Angeles area.

Equipment available at the depot ranges from aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts and earthmoving machinery to compaction equipment, generators and compressors. Brands include Atlas Copco, Case, Genie, JLG, JCB, Kubota and Takeuchi.

In addition to the equipment rental fleet, the facility also offers new and used equipment sales, parts availability within 24 hours for most items, in-shop and mobile service repairs, and training

H&E Equipment ranked 20th in this year’s IRN100 listing of the world’s largest rental companies according to their 2019 revenues, which will be published in the June issue of IRN.
