Technical advances made when developing its range topping LC2100 series of tower cranes, have led Linden Comansa to extend its Flat-top 21 LC 550 range as well, to include a 24 tonne variant. Previously, the 21 LC 550 series comprised two versions with 12 and 18 tonne maximum loads.

The new 21 LC 550 24t features an 80 m reach and a freestanding height of 86.5 m with a maximum jib-end load of 3.25 tonnes. Along with the new model, the company is releasing an adaptation kit for its 21 LC 550 18t to enable owners to upgrade their existing model to the 24 tonne capacity.
