Hunnebeck wins in Poland

17 March 2008

Scaffolding and services supplier Hunnebeck of Germany will rent 30000 m2 of scaffolding over the next 18 months for the construction of the new Sea Towers office and apartment complex in Gdynia, Poland.

The structure, which will rise on the edge of Gdañsk Bay on the south coast of the Baltic Sea, will be Poland's tallest building outside Warsaw. Its design concept is two high–rise towers, the tallest of which will be about 138 m high, linked by a “skyway” at a height of 24 m.

The structure will provide 32000 m2 of residential, office, and retail floor space. Porr Polska is general contractor and Modzelewski & Rodek is responsible for the concrete shell. Both companies are based in Warsaw.
