Hyundai wins Technical Innovation award for the Medium Wheeled Loader catergory at SaMoTer 2020

Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe (HCEE) has won the Technical Innovation award for the Medium Wheel Loader category at this year’s SaMoTer Innovation Award ceremony.

HCEE picked up the accolade for its Stage V compliant HL960A wheeled loader, which features a Cummins engine, improved safety and visibility and a redesigned cabin interior.

Nicolas Rousseau, sales and marketing director for HCEE’s Construction Equipment division, said, “It is a real honour to be awarded the Technical Innovation award by a selection of industry experts and journalists representing the most authoritative Italian and international publications in the construction equipment sector.”

He added, “We are very grateful for this award and see it as a reward for our constant striving to move forward in terms of technology and comfort for our operators.”

The HL960A model also has a newly designed engine hood design, includes Hyundai’s Power Smart Mode and modified operator controls.

The awards, part of the SoMoTer construction industry exhibition, took place in Verona, Italy, last week.

The fair itself will take place in Verona between 21 and 25 March.
