IAPA awards judging panel complete

The line-up of judges for the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) has been completed with the addition of longstanding industry expert Paolo Pianigiani, commercial director of Imer Group.

Pianigiani has spent his entire career at the Italy-based manufacturer, for which he has established commercial branches in the US, Spain, UK and France, before becoming managing director of the company’s Russian branch. Following its acquisition of Iteco in 2010, Pianigiani led the team that developed Imer’s electric and RT scissor lifts and a new range of spiders. He now focuses on commercial development across the group.

Taking place at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington, in London, UK, on 10 March, the 2022 IAPA awards ceremony will mark the first time it has been held as an in-person event since 2019.

The deadline for entries to the 13 IAPA award categories, which provide opportunities for companies and individuals across the powered access sector, has been extended to 15 December 2021 - ENTER HERE

Pianigiani joins the four other independent industry experts on the judging panel:

Nico Krekeler, head of design and development, Ruthmann Holdings, and chairman of the board of directors, Ruthmann Italia.

Michel Petitjean Michel Petitjean

Michel Petitjean, secretary general of the European Rental Association (ERA)

Andy Studdert Andy Studdert

Andy Studdert, independent corporate director and past president of IPAF. Formerly CEO of NES Rentals, which was acquired by United Rentals in 2017.

Jonathan Till Jonathan Till

Jonathan Till, owner the UK’s largest independent access equipment rental company GTAccess, and member of the IPAF UK Country Council.

Non-voting chair of the judging panel: Euan Youdale, editor, Access International.

Companies and individuals can enter as many awards as they like. They can also enter the same product or initiative into more than one category, if relevant.
