Nathan Cook, APS (Access Platform Sales) business development manager for vehicle mounted platforms.

Nathan Cook joins IAPS Group’s sales division, APS (Access Platform Sales), as business development manager for vehicle mounted platforms.

Mr Cook has worked in the access and plant industry for 20 years both nationally and internationally, starting out with Simon Access. During his career he has worked for Interlift and ABB, a global supplier to powered access and material handling equipment manufacturers; and more recently with JCB. At APS, his primary focus is the new Aldercote range of van mounted boom lifts.

Mr Cook said, “We envisage Aldercote becoming the van mount of choice for many fleet operators, so this is a very exciting opportunity for me and for APS.”

Mr Cook is responsible for UK national accounts for all vehicle mounted platforms in the APS portfolio, including the Isoli range of compact truck mounts. He will also support the company’s regional sales managers in developing sales of the Aldercote range into independent rental companies and end users such as roofing contractors.

Steve Couling, managing director of IAPS Group, which owns APS, said, “Nathan is well known and respected in the industry. He has a great deal of experience in business development of national accounts, making him the ideal person for this role.”
