A Meccanica Breganzese crushing bucket, supplied by sole UK dealer Worsley Plant, is proving an ideal solution for Devon, UK, based operation Moores of Froxton, who currently carries out a range of activities around the region, including site clearance. The 3.5 tonne Dig A Crusher 900 bucket, with a maximum capacity of up to 70 tonnes/hour, first came to the company's attention at last year's SED show in the UK. According to the company, many sites in the region in which it operates are small and cannot accommodate a standalone mobile crusher. The bucket provided an ideal solution for the company's site clearance activities - one machine with a collection of attachments, including the bucket, can do the clearance and recycling, reducing space requirements on site. The bucket is used in conjunction with Moores' recently purchased Hitachi ZX225 USR LC excavator.

The company says the bucket has proved highly versatile, and it has been used to crush a wide range of materials, including reinforced concrete, demolition and road building waste, curbstones and sleepers.
