Kobelco's Shinsuke Izumi to give OEM keynote

Crane owners will be able to put questions directly to senior figures from manufacturers at the World Crane and Transport Summit in Amsterdam on 7 and 8 November.

The OEM Session on the second morning will start with a keynote speech by Shinzuke Izumi, executive board member, director – global sales and marketing division, Kobelco. He will be accompanied by Detlef Brueckner, general manager marketing and product development, large crawler cranes, Kobelco Construction Machinery.

Following the OEM keynote there will be a round-table session, giving delegates the opportunity to question senior OEM representatives, as follows:

  • Christoph Kleiner, managing director sales, Liebherr-Werk Ehingen
  • Shinsuke Izumi, executive board member, Kobelco
  • Liu Jiansen, vice president, XCMG & general manager, XCMG Import & Export Co

In his keynote speech, Mr Izumi will be able to draw on his extensive experience of crane markets around the world. He has a global role at Kobelco Cranes and in the past has been president of its subsidiaries in North America and India.

Also during the OEM session, Liu Jiansen, vice president, XCMG and general manager, XCMG Import & Export Co, will give the conference an update on the Chinese crane market, looking at the impact of new Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects.
