Local compactors in Wirtgen showcase

Wirtgen Group plans to present products from its Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm and Kleemann brands tailored for the local market at Bauma China. It said the 38 pieces of equipment on show, there would be 11 new machines and 13 products manufactured locally at its Langfang, China factory.

Hamm will use the show for the world premiere of the 318 and 320 compactors, which are made locally and tailored to the needs of the Chinese market. The company said these combine “German quality standards with Chinese cost-awareness.”

Vögele will also be presenting new pavers at the show in the form of the Super 1900-3 L and Super 2100-3 L. Also designed for the requirements of the Chinese market, these tracked units have an extra-long material hopper and chassis.

Vögele is also presenting its compact Super 1103-3 and Super 1300-3 pavers at the show as well as the Super 1800-2 L and Super 1800-2 HD. In addition, Wirtgen’s SP 15 and SP 25 slipform pavers will also be on show, featuring the Wirtgen AutoPilot Field Rover – technology that the company is presenting for the first time in China, and is said to allow automatic concrete paving without grade line or track wire.

The Kleemann exhibits meanwhile will include the brand new Mobicone MCO 9 EVO 260 tonnes per hour diesel driven mobile cone crusher. Weighing in at 30 tonnes, the unit has been designed to be easy to transport and complements the Mobicat MC 110 Z EVO cone crusher which will also be on show. Also on display will be the three-deck MS 19 D Mobiscreen.
