Nationwide Platforms adds six Ruthmann Steiger 275 truck mounts to its fleet.

Six of the Ruthmann Steiger T275 truck mounted aerial platforms which were launched at the APEX show in September have been delivered to UK rental company Nationwide Platforms, part of the Lavendon Group.

The Steiger T 275 has a 27.3 m working height and 21 m outreach. Its variable turret shortens the total length of the vehicle, adds working height and makes difficult-to-reach areas more easily accessible. The machine has a maximum set-up inclination of 5° and a variable horizontal/vertical jacking system for safe and reliable positioning.

To get the most from the working envelope the articulating boom is mounted onto an agile MAN-chassis and has a total vehicle length of 7.8 m and a wheelbase of 3.6 m.

Alongside the machine features, the decision to buy six Steiger T 275 models was partially based on Nationwide's satisfaction with the five Ruthmann Steiger T 370 models that were delivered to Nationwide Platforms in 2007.
