Terex Finlay has introduced a new tracked screen to its range in the form of the 250 tonne/hour 863, which has been designed for use in quarrying, mining, construction and demolition applications in confined spaces. It can be fed by either a crusher or an excavator.

Featuring three hydraulically folding conveyors, it has two 2.7 m x 1.2 m (9ft x 4 ft) screening decks. The top deck can be fitted with a range of screening media including tines, bofor bars, punched plate and mesh. The bottom deck can be fitted with mesh or cascade fingers, with the screen box hydraulically adjustable between 14 and 18 degrees. The hopper has a 5 cubic metre (177 cubic foot) capacity, with power coming from a Deutz 49 kW (66 hp) air cooled diesel.

According to Terex Finlay, it can be hydraulically folded and be ready for transport in less than 30 minutes.
