New ownership for AR Demolition

Senior managers at United Kingdom-based contractor AR Demolition have completed a change of ownership at the company.

Founder and CEO Richard Dolman will lead the joint partnership along with new managing director Mike Henderson and finance director Matt Munro. AR said the company had been aware it needed a change of direction since late 2019 and called the new partnership “part of a planned rebuild following periods of turbulent growth.”

Mike Henderson has been at AR Demolition since 2016 and Matt Munro joined a year later. Andrew Thompson, who formed the company with Richard Dolman in 2007, will continued to be involved as managing director newly rebranded aggregates recycling firm Aggrecycle.

“The company has grown exponentially several times but we have not looked after the growth as well as we might have done,” said Mike.

“Since then, we have set out a plan to return the business to its core values. Performance since enacting the plan has been exception and the green shoots are clearly there. This is all against the backdrop of one of the most challenging times for business in our lifetime.”

Richard Dolman added: “We have an exciting opportunity at AR Demolition. The company is in good hands and is well set for the coming years.”
