Dwarfing Ormig's 10 tonne capacity model 10 tmE industrial pick and carry crane at October's SAIE exhibition in Italy, was the 60 tonne capacity model 60 tm. It is the Italian manufacturer's largest pick and carry model. At the rear is a steering axle with hydropneumatic suspension using four trailing arms and a transverse link. Travel speed is automatically regulated according to how much load there is on the hook. Power is from a 352 hp (240 kW) Mercedes diesel. The transmission has a ZF torque converter and gear selection is automatic or manual. The hydraulic system uses a variable delivery pump with electro-proportional compensated distributor so all the functions can be carried out simultaneously and with adjusted speed.
