Petro-Sea Logistics boosts fleet of Grove ATs

Petro-Sea Logistics, a joint venture between Belgian terminal operator Sea-Invest and Ivory Coast-based oil company Petroci, has purchased a GMK5180-1 all terrain crane manufactured by Manitowoc. The crane will be used at the Port of Abidjan on the Ivory Coast, where the company provides logistics and material handling services for major oil companies.
According to Manitowoc, the 180 t GMK5180-1 features a 64 metre boom and a VIAB turbo clutch that enables wear-free starting and braking. The crane was supplied by Pasico Ghana, a subsidiary of the Paterson Simons crane dealership network. Pasico Ghana will also provide localised technical support, training and warranty options.

The new GMK5180-1 all terrain crane will join several other Manitowoc Grove all terrain cranes that Petro-Sea Logistics has bought in the last year.
