Independent vibrations increase throughput.

Flex-Mat 3 is a new high-performance, self-cleaning screen media developed by Major Wire of Canada.

"Flex-Mat 3's independently vibrating wires increase product throughput by up to +40% over traditional woven wire panels by eliminating blinding, pegging and clogging," said a spokesperson.

"Furthermore, Flex-Mat 3 has up to +30% more open area for even greater material throughput."

Available with wire configurations including diamond-shaped for most standard applications, wave-patterned for the removal of fines and triangular for heavy scalping or fine screening, Flex-Mat 3 boasts a wear life of three times that of woven wire.

"With Flex-Mat 3 a producer can put more of the correct specification material on the ground, providing a greater return on investment," said the spokesperson.
