Snorkel has signed an official distribution agreement with Gantic for Norway, which increases its responsibilities in the region from service only to a full-line sales and service partner.

Appointed as Snorkel’s service partner for Norway in August 2015, Gantic will now handle Snorkel equipment and spare parts sales in addition to continuing to provide technical service support to customers across the territory. The full-line distribution agreement is effective immediately. Snorkel previously handled sales directly in Norway.

Gantic offers comprehensive nationwide coverage, operating from seven branches, four of which specialise in service. Tommy Jørgensen, owner of Gantic, said, “Following our appointment as a service partner for Snorkel, we quickly came to realise the additional market potential for sales of new Snorkel lifts to our customer base.”

Henrik Skibsted, territory manager for Scandinavia and The Baltics for Snorkel said, “Gantic are a truly professional business with a strong network based in all of the key regions of Norway. They have already proven their capability to service Snorkel equipment, so this is a natural progression for both businesses.”

Regional sales director for Europe, Enrique Garcia Delgado added, “With Gantic A/S, we have no doubt that they can provide the highest levels of technical support, and they already retail a number of brands so have an established equipment sales channel as well. It is a pleasure to welcome such a high caliber full-line distributor to our Snorkel family.”
