Techking three-year strategy

20 January 2021

Qingdao, China-based crane and off-highway trucks tyre manufacturer / provider Techking has outlined a three-year business development strategy with the end aim of doubling its current performance over that time.

To achieve this, Techking said it is transforming its business model from focusing on R&D and marketing to a three-pronged approach prioritising localised marketing, an integrated product supply system and developing its service system. Techking said it is also looking to continue to strengthen compliance management.

Despite the impact of Covid-19, in September 2020, it announced a significant year-on-year improvement in revenue and states that it recorded its best ever year to date. As a ‘thank you’ to its staff, Techking rewarded its staff with cash bonuses.

The company said it has also been focusing on product customisation and references its tyre offerings for the latest generation of large cranes as an example of this.

Techking said it exports products and services to more than 160 countries and customers include XCMG, Sany, Zoomlion, Doosan, Liebherr, Terex, and Sandvik.
