Volvo Rents integrates Wynne Systems' Axiom ERP software

21 May 2013

Volvo Rents has officially implemented Wynne Systems’ Axiom ERP into all of its locations in North America and Puerto Rico.
Axiom ERP is a software package that integrates resource planning (ERP) and helps manage the full lifecycle of rental management, from contract and order processing to inventory utilization, maintenance and financials.
"We have always attributed our accomplishments to a commitment of superior customer service, as well as our ability to quickly access information on locations, customers and equipment,” said Barry Natwick, COO of Volvo Rents. “We’re excited about working with the new system, which will no doubt improve our overall efficiency and allow us to better serve our customers.”
Each of Volvo Rents’ more than 130 North American rental centers offers a line of equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets, as well as an extensive line of Volvo excavators, compactors, backhoe and skid steer loaders.
Other available equipment for rent includes a full array of aerial, air equipment, material handling and small tools. The focus is on daily, weekly and monthly rentals.
“When Wynne and Volvo jointly announced the agreement late last year, the plan was to roll out by the end of April 2013,” said John Bureau, general manager of Wynne Systems. “Working closely, as partners, the team achieved this objective. A job well done by the hundreds of people who worked diligently to achieve what was a very aggressive goal. We look forward to supporting Volvo Rents future initiatives around the world.”
