Wolffkran tower cranes are in action on the Zlota 44 Tower project which is set to change the skyline of Warsaw, Poland.

Zlota 44, translated as 44 Gold Street, will be a prestigious address in Warsaw's downtown area. The 192 m, 54 storey luxury high-rise residential tower will be built in the shape of a sail.

Building commenced at the beginning of March this year. A Wolff 7031 and Wolff 5520 were purchased by EFH Żurawie Wieżowe (EFH ŻW), the sub contractor for the project.

There was a considerable space constraint, demanding a foundation on anchors in the bottom slab inside the building, with substructure floor openings. Assembly and dismantling of the cranes had to take place on one side of the road.

The cranes are now standing at 90 m and are set to be on the site until November 2009. "The cooperation with Wolffkran is proving to be mutually successful. Indeed it is always a pleasure to work with such professionals," said Piotr Guzowski, EFH ŻW vice president.
