The games are going on in 11 cities of Russia. In nine cities, it was necessary to construct modern stadiums corresponding to FIFA requirements from zero and, in the other two cities, to make reconstruction. Apart from that, it was necessary to prepare the entire necessary infrastructure including construction of new hotels.

All that has become possible due to modern construction technologies and equipment implemented on sites.

All the stadiums and infrastructure were ready and constructed by Russian companies in short period of time. The majority of construction equipment was provided by rental companies starting from earthmoving equipment and forms up to 43m booms and climbing platforms.

Many rental companies, including the leading rental company Fortrent, took part in the project. Fortrent, for instance, has rented equipment to Zenit stadium in Saint Petersburg. In Nizhniy Novgorod when it was necessary to speed up the construction, Fortrent has installed 26 climbing platforms, so the project was finished on time.

Today, the Championship is still going on and rental companies are providing temporary equipment for fan zones like fences, site units and loaders.
