Zeppelin Rental to highlight digital strategies at IRC

Peter Schrader, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of German-based Zeppelin Rental, will give delegates at the International Rental Conference (IRC) an insight into the company’s digital strategy.
The conference is on 31 October, 2017 in Shanghai and is organised by KHL Group and International Rental News (IRN).
Like many businesses, Zeppelin Rental is adapting to a new business environment where customers are engaging with their rental suppliers in different ways, and where new IT systems are giving rental companies the opportunity to operate more efficiently.
As part of a wider presentation, Mr Schrader will describe how Zeppelin Rental – one of Europe’s most successful rental businesses – has adopted new technology in areas such as online rentals, automated stock management, online training, smartphone Apps for rental booking and sales activities.
The company has also pioneered the idea of using virtual and interactive construction sites to help customers plan their equipment needs.
“Innovation is crucial to the success of a rental business and has played a key part in the success of Zeppelin Rental”, said Mr Schrader, “The IRC conference will be an opportunity for us to share some of what we are doing with the rental market in China and Asia.

IRC will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) in Hall N1 alongside the first APEX Asia exhibition. APEX Asia will showcase modern access equipment and is co-located with CeMAT Asia exhibition. CeMAT Asia is the largest material handling and factory automation exhibition in Asia, attracting more than 75,000 visitors.
