Abseil to safety

15 April 2008

Designed for use in high emergency situations, the Total S-Cape personal emergency evacuation system from Total Access (UK) uses equipment similar to that used for abseiling to provide a rescue when an elevated crane cab cannot be lowered. The equipment is for situations where the operator is also facing a secondary hazard, such as fire and should only be used by people certified for the specific equipment. The system complies with UK Health and Safety Executive Operational Circular OC 282/31. For more information visit www.totalaccess.co.uk
