24 April 2008

Contractors looking to rent aerial platforms have a wide choice of provider, with access one of the liveliest and fastest growing of all the rental sectors in Europe. CE's sister magazine Access International compiles a list of the largest 50 access rental companies in the world - as measured by fleet size - and the latest Access-50 table has just been published in the July-August issue of the magazine.

A summary of the top 50 is printed here, with European companies highlighted in bold. The survey reveals that European companies are growing quickest, with seven of the top ten fastest growing companies from Europe. Spain's UMESA saw the biggest increase in its fleet, up 53% increase to 3600 units.
