Admar celebrates Pennsylvania opening
05 December 2013
US construction equipment sales and rental firm Admar has celebrated the one-year anniversary of operations at its new retail space in Pennsylvania.
The independently owned firm opened its depot in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area of Pittston last December. The opening marked the company’s first venture outside of New York state.
The new branch has more than tripled its showroom size and added both sales and service staff over the past year. Admar has also increased inventory in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, including brands such as Wacker Neuson and STIHL.
“The growth we have seen as a branch over the past year has been thrilling,” said Ed Cologie, Wilkes-Barre branch manager. “Starting a branch in a new region brings exciting challenges, and we are grateful for this past year’s success. We intend to maintain our commitment to bring our quality products and customer service to the northern Pennsylvania area for years to come.”
Admar’s growth in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area paved the way for an additional location in Erie, which opened in November 2013. Further expansion beyond New York and Pennsylvania is now planned.
