The Aggreko team celebrate the opening of the new centre in Midland, Texas.

Power rental firm Aggreko has opened a new service centre in Midland, Texas as part of its expansion across the state.

The new 6500 sq ft (2000 m2) facility will maintain all Aggreko equipment lines, including a wide range of portable natural gas and diesel power generation units, sales personnel, technical service and operational support.

According to Aggreko, the new service centre will enhance the company’s responsiveness to temporary power needs in the booming Permian Basin area of Texas.

“The investment in this new location underscores Aggreko’s commitment to safe and superior customer service, keeping our oil and gas clients working in remote areas of production on time, on target and on budget,” said Brian Fahnestock, vice president, general manager, Mid-South Area, Aggreko North America.

The Midland opening follows the recent addition of a service centre in Three Rivers, Texas.
