Finning's Cat Rental operation in Chile has placed its largest ever single order for new equipment with Genie South America. With a total value of US$1.2 million (€0.93million), the order is for 40 machines - 20 electric and 7 rough terrain scissors, 12 articulated self-propelled booms and a single telescopic S-105 self propelled boom. The company currently operates a fleet of 100 AWPs (along with 40 lighting towers) out of four depots in the capital Santiago, Calama (in the north of Chile close to the mining region), and in the southern Chilean towns of Puerto Mont and Concepcion. Finning is also Genie's authorised dealer for the country.
