Spain's national railway operator RENFE has ordered 17 PLF12 rail–mounted platforms from CMC in Italy. Railway equipment specialist Cometi, also of Italy, will mount and deliver the units to RENFE. The 240 kg payload device offers about 13 m of working height, 9.5 m of outreach, and 5 m of reach below the deck of the railcar. Its platform rotates 270º vertically and 90º left and right. This latest order for CMC follows the delivery of 30 units to MTH Praha, the Czech railway equipment manufacturer, which fitted them to carriages for Italian railway company Trenitalia.
