Five Alimak Scando 650 hoists with a total of eight cars are being used on the construction of the Torre Repsol tower block in Madrid and on two adjoining towers, Torre Espacio and Torre Cristal. The hoists, comprising three twin 650s and two single cab models, were sold to Madrid rental company Alfe and formwork manufacturer and renter Peri. When completed next summer the three buildings will be up to 250 m high and among Europe’s tallest.
