Aichi aims for $20 million in 2007

25 March 2008

Aichi USA Inc. has set itself a target of $20 million in sales during its first full year of operation in the US. That would mean sales of around 200 self–propelled tracked machines, as well as truck–mounted platform shipments.

Alan Dotts, manager of Aichi USA Inc., says that the company will be selling 40–, 60– and 70–foot tracked telescopic models. “I think we've got a corner of the market – 40 foot and 70 foot tracked machines that nobody has.”

The company will also sell truck–mounted models, initially imported complete from Japan, and will be cooperating in sales with General Motors and Isuzu Commercial Truck (GMICT).
