Airside approval for AFI

28 July 2016

AFI can now deliver powered access machines direct to contractors working at Gatwick Airport in London, UK, after being granted airside approval by the airport.

Ben Hammill, AFI business development manager, said, “We have been working with a number of contractors at other sites and they asked us if we could supply them with machines at Gatwick Airport, so we are delighted to have gained this approval.

!It means that contractors working at the airport now have a wider choice of powered access suppliers. We have a fleet of over 500 machines, drivers and service engineers within easy reach of the airport and can also call upon our national fleet of over 5000 machines, so we can easily meet all requirements.”
