It can now be confirmed that All Erection bought its second and third 150 US ton (135 tonne) capacity Manitowoc Grove RT9150E rough terrain cranes at the ConExpo exhibition in March.

The RT9150E is the world's largest capacity rough terrain. Its 197 foot (60 metre) boom is the longest on any current production rough terrain crane, said the rental company. Only seven RT9150Es are in circulation, claimed the All Erection & Crane Rental Corp., Family of Companies.

The compact RT9150E is easy to manoeuvre and ideal for pick-and-carry applications in plants, including processing, refineries, power plants, and other large projects where space is often tight, added the company.

All Grove rough terrains have on-rubber duties to enhance productivity. In addition to the 6-section, full power boom, the RT9150E has a 36 to 59 foot (11 to 18 m) offsettable bi-fold swingaway extension. The six-cylinder, Cummins QSL 8.3L turbo charged diesel engine meets US EPA Tier IV and EU Stage IIIB emissions standards.

"This crane offers an impressive maximum tip height of 312 feet, features a hydraulic extension, and picks like a beast. The demand is already strong, so much so we have decided to be all in for this product offering," said Michael Liptak, president of the All Family of Companies.
