Expansive US-based portable storage rental company Mobile Mini has sealed another deal with the acquisition of Swinglift USA for an undisclosed sum.

Swinglift is a Dallas, Texas-based portable storage provider with a fleet of around 1560 rental containers at a current utilisation of 82%.

Mobile Mini president and CEO Erik Olsson said, “We continue to execute on our growth strategy of using both internal revenue growth and strategic acquisitions of high returning assets in key markets to drive returns for shareholders.

"Dallas/Ft. Worth has been a great market for us and the ability to add a large number of units at high utilisation without adding significant costs is very attractive.”

Mobile Mini has a rental fleet of around 205200 portable storage containers and office units, while its specialty containment subsidiary Evergreen Tank Solutions boasts a fleet of 11700 units. Mobile Mini’s network includes 133 portable storage locations in the US, UK, and Canada, 19 specialty containment locations and 7 combined locations.
