Ardent grows fleet

15 February 2016

Ardent Hire Solutions, the new company formed by the merger of One Call Hire and Fork Rent, has begun its £100 million (€131 million) fleet investment programme with the purchase of 60 Kubota mini excavators.

The company said it had bought 1.5 tonne U17-3α models from the manufacturers – the first machines to carry Ardent's new brand.

Ardent chief executive Steve Corcoran said, “We’re really excited by our first bulk delivery of 2016. These new Kubota excavators are proof of Ardent’s commitment to providing our customers with the newest, most up to date fleet available in the industry today.

"This order is just part of our £100 million (€131 million) investment as we improve and extend our fleet, and there is plenty more to come in the next few months.”
