The new post driver from Atlas Copco

Atlas Copco Construction Tools has introduced a new lightweight post driver. With a low service weight of less than 18 kg the LPD-LD can be used for road, fencing and installation contractors, landscapers or power line utility.

The LPD-LD can drive ground rods, anchors, spikes and steel tubes up to 65 mm straight into almost any ground condition.

The unit's low weight and easy start function mean that one person can operate the LPD-LD. With a maximum fluid power of 20 l/min, the post driver can handle ground rods, fence stakes, poles or tubes.

The LPD-LD accepts rods or posts from 10 to 65 mm. Adaptor bushings for 16 mm and 25 mm rods, as well as for 55 - 62 mm pipes or poles come as standard, while a wide range of other adaptors are available.

The LPD-LD post driver line includes five models, up to a 40 kg weight, to cover any handheld or crane lifted driving job from 10 - 150 mm poles, steel rods or profiles.
