Atlas Maschinen launched updated versions of its TC 13 A2, TC 23 A3, and TC 33 A3 articulating boom hydraulic cranes at the Intermat exhibition in Paris.

The three models from the German manufacturer offer a reach of 3.46, 4.03 or 5.67 metres, respectively, and load capacities of 890, 1,820, and 2,230 kg, respectively. The T-Series cranes are now available with wireless remote control and winch.

The new radio remote control system has identical EPROMs in both transmitters and receivers, allowing the user to replace the EPROM with one from a different transmitter, the manufacturer said.

Also new at Intermat was the Atlas Ahmeko stabilising system. It is used to monitor the effects of cargo movements, the manufacturer said. Four axle-mounted ultrasonic sensors measure the horizontal distance to the ground independently from each sensor. As soon as a wheel moves upwards the loader crane is automatically stopped.

Also on show from Atlas was a selection of medium-size loader cranes from the .3-generation, including the 88.3 A3 with grab, 116.3 A28 salvage crane, 172.3 A6 Hawe (with wide support width and galvanised hose reel), and 206.3 A4 Hawe.

Atlas Maschinen GmbH is at the Intermat booth G 004 in outdoor area E5.
