Aerial work platform manufacturer ATN has opened a 10,000 square metre manufacturing plant in France.

ATN took the decision to expand its operations after seeing increased demand and tight lead times from major customers such as Loxam, Hertz and Lavendon.

The new ATN plant is located close to Fauillet, in southwestern France. It is close to the company’s existing production centre, which is in Tonneins. ATN will manufacture the CX-12 and CX-15 scissor lifts, the articulated Zebra-12 and Zebra-16 booms, and the PIAF vertical mast boom models from the Fauillet plant. The assembly line will share space with the ATN commercial team, which has also relocated from the Tonneins plant.

ATN’s new platform development and engineering department will occupy the old plant in Tonneins. According to its sales director, David Beltram, ATN will dedicate the plant in Tonneins to the design and testing of new prototypes.
