Ainscough Wind Energy Services (AWES), sister company to Ainscough Crane Hire in the UK, will now undertake wind farm management.

The move will mean that the firm will be able to offer a complete package of services for wind farm owners, from project consultation through to decommissioning, the company said.

At the time of writing in early January, AWES had taken on the management of three wind farms. Spread across the UK, they will now be fully supported by some of the country’s most skilled specialist labourers with direct access to the UK’s largest fleet of mobile cranes, the company said.

John Fabby, managing partner of AWES, said, “We have built and maintained turbines for a number of years but now we are able to offer total management for the entire lifecycle of a wind farm.

“As the country’s hunger for renewable energy grows, we are well placed to support clients that perhaps don’t have the necessary knowledge or time to run and maintain a farm. It’s an exciting step forward for AWES and further proves our dedication and market-leading expertise,” Fabby continued.
