USA-based heavy lifting and transportation company Barnhart has opened an office in Phoenix, Arizona. The branch will focus on heavy rigging, engineered rigging and heavy haul transportation and will service power, mining and heavy industrial customers.

The company now operates in more than 20 locations across the USA. "Our new location in Arizona puts us in a great position to serve our customers throughout the Southwest. This is a natural extension to our location in Long Beach, California," said Jim Harris, Barnhart western region vice president.

Barnhart specialises in serving the power industry, including renewable energy, nuclear, natural gas and coal, with its heavy rigging equipment. The company also provides logistics, machinery moving and plant relocations, and recently added the WesTrac Transportation System to its equipment inventory.
