Baseplan Software achieves ARA certification

16 June 2014

Australian rental software company Baseplan Software has been granted the Rental Market Metrics certification by the American Rental Association (ARA).

The ARA Rental Market Metrics programme provides companies in the rental industry a reliable source to calculate and report on performance measures such as changes in rental rates and usage.

Baseplan said the programme had been integrated into the Baseplan Enterprise system within 12 months of opening its first North American office.

ARA CEO Christine Wehrman said, “The equipment rental industry now has another software vendor that our members can trust to deliver ARA Rental Market Metrics.”

And Matthew Patrick, CEO of Baseplan North America, said ARA Rental Market Metrics was the first step in the company's mission to become the system of choice for North American rental companies.

“As a member of the ARA for the past few years, we exhibited for the first time at The Rental Show in February, demonstrating our Baseplan Enterprise software with emphasis on what we do best – mobility solutions, business intelligence tools, field servicing and rental management,” Mr Patrick added.

Baseplan sait its development staff worked closely with the ARA to gain certification in ARA Rental Market Metrics.

Mr Patrick said, “Our clients can now consistently measure their performance, equipment, revenue and profitability at the click of a button.

"The metrics not only enhances our Baseplan Enterprise software and offering to our clients, it also reaffirms our commitment to the North American rental industry.”
