Bauer AG is reported to have acquired all of the shares in the construction data management platform, fielddata.io GmbH. All digital solutions developed by the software provider for special civil engineering will in future be available for Bauer Maschinen GmbH and Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH customers.

A cooperation agreement is said to have existed between fielddata.io and Bauer since 2019 in order to jointly develop digital foundation engineering solutions with the combined know-how of their employees.

Jochen Maurer, managing director of fielddata, says, “We are very pleased that our previous cooperation partner Bauer is now also supporting the company’s further growth as the sole shareholder. Together we are perfecting the digital process from planning to execution and display of target data to quality documentation on all Bauer machines.”

“Our customers in special civil engineering benefit from immense advantages,” confirms Dr. Rüdiger Kaub, managing director of Bauer Maschinen GmbH.

“The overall package of machines and technologies for data analysis and quality documentation ensures a smooth digital workflow. In this way, we enable our customers to use our machines efficiently on their construction sites.”
