Bauma 2013 breaks all records

A record 530,000 visitors from more than 200 countries around the world attended last week’s Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany. Organiser Messe München added that with 200,000 visitors from outside Germany, this year’s show saw the greatest number of international visitors in Bauma’s history.

Klaus Dittrich, chairman & CEO of Messe München said, “Our exhibitors were delighted with the quality of the visitors here and with the international spread represented among them Good business has been done here.”

A total of 3,420 exhibitors took part in Bauma – 1,346 from Germany and 2,074 from 57 foreign countries. It was the largest show ever in terms of exhibition space, at 570,000 m2.

The next Bauma ill take place from 11 to 17 April, 2016 in Munich, Germany.
