bC India attracts 26,000 visitors

The bC India exhibition was attended by 26,000 visitors according to the organisers. The event was held from December 15 to 18, 2014 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, near to the capital, Delhi.

Igor Palka, CEO of the organiser, bC Expo India, said, "That our exhibitors have so much trust in our brand and are continuing to support bC India in what is still a difficult economic environment. The event is now a firm date in the calendar for many companies and it has established itself. We have had a lot of positive feedback – and of course we are delighted about that."

It was the third time the exhibition has been held, but the first time in Greater Noida. bC India 2011 and bC India 2013 took place in Mumbai. The 2013 exhibition attracted 28,000 visitors, and prior to the show bC Expo India said it had hoped for numbers in the region of 30,000 for the 2014 edition.

According to the organisers, the show will remain at the purpose-built India Expo Centre exhibition venue for the foreseeable future. The next bC India is expected to be held in late 2016, but this has not yet been confirmed.

bC India is organised by bC Expo India, a joint venture between Messe München International (MMI), which organises the Bauma and Bauma China trade shows, among others, and the US-based Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), which is responsible for the ConExpo-Con/Agg event in Las Vegas, US, among other exhibitions.
