Bill Cussen and Sons (BCS) Crane Hire has added two new Liebherr machines to the fleet at its Limerick branch in the south of Ireland.

The new models include a 55 tonne capacity LTM 1055-3.2 and a 200 tone capacity LTM 1200-5.1. Work for the cranes will include local construction projects and carrying out lifts in the engineering and wind turbine maintenance sectors, a company spokesperson said.

BCS Crane Hire was formed following a management split at Cussen & Co Crane Hire. Bill Cussen, managing director said, “Along with our existing 90 tonne machine, also from Liebherr, the two new cranes allow us to offer our customers a comprehensive crane hire service.”

Brian Lang, sales manager at Liebherr Ireland, said, “The formation of a new crane hire company in Ireland provides evidence to the recovery in the economy and the steady return of growth. We wish Bill and his sons all the best with their new venture.”
